Response: "The Politics of Rescue"
Interveining with other peoples' business is hard enough on a day to day life with regular everyday problems, now imagine trying to help in another countries problems. seems impossible right? It has shown most obvious that the United States always seems to be helping out in other peoples' problems often, but is it too much? I for one don't think so. In the article it mentioned the US becoming the world police, and i see where they are coming from, i just believe other countries need to help out more. When there is ethnic cleansing and other forms of terrorism, who are we not to help? how can we just sit back and do nothing when we know what is happening over there? i'm not saying the United States can fix the world or that it has all the answers, i'm just saying if we do nothing we are almost as bad as the people or groups doing these horrific acts.
